Peebles Highland Games and Traquair House, Scotland
We are back home from our trip to England And Scotland. I will be posting photos from the trip.
While in Peebles, Scotland, at their local Highland Games, we enjoyed many pipe bands. I loved to watch the expressions on the young folk's faces!

After leaving England, we were met in Newcastle and had a wonderful 4 day private tour of the Borders area of Scotland.
TRAQUAIR HOUSE
Scotland's Oldest Inhabited House.
1107- 2008
Dating back to 1107, it was originally a hunting lodge for the Kings and Queens of Scotland.
Later it served as a refuge for Catholic priests in times of terror. The Stuarts of Traquair supported Mary Queen of Scots and the Jacobite cause.
