2009-The Year In Review

January—We celebrated Ukrainian Christmas Eve in honour of our son-in-law Jim.

061February found us celebrating again…eldest Grandson’s 17th birthday

  120 In March we flew to Mexico with our son and family for a week of sun and fun…what a great time we had!

April…Easter…we remembered our Lord’s death and resurrection…and of course, the collection of pysanky was out on display..021 …and second Grandson celebrated his 13th …022May was the month we attended “I Believe: with the Winnipeg Symphony…granddaughter was in the childrens’ choir…we had dinner at our house that night.  She celebrated her 11th birthday in June..

003 June was the month we started enjoying our flower garden…sweet!010

July –vacation month…we took a trip to Minneapolis with our daughter and family…camping…sightseeing, shopping! Oh, so much fun!

October..our Canadian Thanksgiving.

Mom’s 90th birthday in November..we held an open house …great day!

and that brings us to December…the most wonderful time of the year!

What a lovely post. You did a lot in 2009. I love your garden, I am going to come and see it next summer when it is in full bloom. Happy New Year to you, my friend. I did a review on my blog, but I was in a hurry and I missed out on lots, wish I could re-do it, but I have to keep going, no time today for that. I have not been using LiveWriter, so it went in backwards and I couldn't move anything around, maybe that is a good reason to learn to use LiveWriter! Maybe my new year's resolution will be to quit being so LAZY and learn more on the computer! Hugs, Cindy S.

This all sounds so wonderful. I love to travel and it sounds like you did quite a bit of that. You have a beautiful family! I look forward to visiting your often. I love gardening, as well! You also make beautiful floral designs, which I also do. It sounds like we have quite a bit in common!

Decorating for Thanksgiving 2020

 Our Canadian Thanksgiving is in one week. Due to COVID, we won't be having a Thanksgiving family dinner this year, but I did some decorating anyway. This Thanksgiving will be different in another way also, as one of our Grandsons is getting married during the same weekend. Due to our Provincial rules, they are only allowed 10 guests The wedding will be held in his parents' back yard so another 10 of us will be seated in the yard next door to see the ceremony.+ It has been almost 2 years since I  last posted. Sometimes life events get in the way!
