Mosaic Monday Dec 21, 2009

Just a few photos of Christmas decor around my house, in time for Mosaic Monday at Mary's. I love this time of year when lovely seasonal images are published.
One of the photos in the mosaic is this holly in a wall vase, which I have mounted on the bathroom mirror wall. I have had the vase for a couple years but didn't use it until now...until I discovered Command hooks...it worked wonderfully! Now I have used them to hang ornaments from windows, an angel from another mirror, etc., etc. ! ( No, I am not advertising for them!)

Another picture from the mosaic is an ornament hung on our dining room window (also with a Command hook). I just tied a little bow at the top..the ornament is quite flat so it fits nicely on the window.

Have a great Christmas week, everyone!

Great mosaic and great idea to mount the vase to the mirror! I have that same "Bless our Home" plate. It was the header for my blog for a long time, and people kept asking where they could find one. I don't think they make it anymore. Yes, you did see a bow on my faucet in my kitchen, you very observant lady! I had taken it off of something and was standing around looking for a place to put it. Since everything else already had a bow on it, I tied it on my faucet! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas. laurie

Hi Millie...

Beautiful mosaic, my friend! Girl, I just adore your beautiful wall vases with the holly...they're gorgeous!!! Ohh..you have so many Christmas pretties! I was admiring your Lenox "Winter Greetings" dishes! I recently bought 4 of the chickadee salad plates...got a really good deal on them. Now I'm hoping to add to the set! Really enjoyed seeing all of your pretty Christmas dishes in the mosaic!

I have been hearing so much about the command hooks...I'm going to have to get a couple and give them a try! They must be really good if you were able to hang the vases with them!

I just had to go back and take a look at your last few posts. My friend, all of your Christmas decor is simply gorgeous...you have a beautiful home! Thank you so much for sharing it and all of your Christmas pretties with us!!!

Just in case I don't get back by before Christmas...I wanted to send you and your family my warmest wishes and blessings for a wonderful Christmas!!!
