The Garden in Early July

Image
We have had an unusual summer do far…lots of rain followed by extreme heat. This is not our usual climate. Some of the garden is doing well, but other plants are suffering. We have a slight problem with yellowing leaves, and I am hoping Miracle Gro will solve that in time. This begonia has been blooming non stop since early May…a real keeper! I have rearranged the items on our green painted bakers rack… “Incrediball” Hydrangea, in it’s 3rd year, is doing well. Pineapple lily…first time blooming…only one spike. I overwinter the bulbs in a cold room. Love these pink lilies! view from the garden path… I am participating in Tootsie’s Flower Flaunting today. Be sure to see the lovely gardens over there.
