Flowers –Feb 12, 2010

The only flowers I can flaunt today, at Tootsie’s , are bought blooms.  The winter is dragging on, so these bright reminders of summer, albeit summer in tropical climates, are so welcome. My dear husband gave these to me for Valentine’s Day.

I love orchids (which seems to run in our family), and recall how in Bangkok, Thailand, we could purchase big bundles of orchids for a few dollars.015 017

Yellow tulips are so spring-like, and if they are double, so much the better!006 007 013

Now head on over to Tootsie’s and see what everyone else is flaunting today.

you have glorious blooms to flaunt this week!!! thanks for joining me with these!!! I have yet to attempt an orchid...they intimidate me...lol...funny a plant that intimidates....lol
One day I will try my hand...and I am a bit nervous that I will kill it...but also a bit afraid that I will be addicted to yet another plant!
have a great weekend!

The source doesn't matter. It's the happiness that counts.

Millie, I love orchids also but I really like your tulips! They always say Springtime to me which is my favourite season. Happy Valentines Day.

Blessings,
