CONSIDER THE LILIES

It's time for "Bouquet of the Month" at  Ramblings from a Desert Garden again. Our lilies are in full bloom so I was trying out various "poses" for them, not exactly bouquets. I am reminded that even Solomon in the Bible, who was wealthy enough to afford clothing of the finest fabric or style, was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers.

Wow, Millie, these are amazing! Are those cake plates and domes? What an idea! I will surely have to steal that one next time I have a party. As the Bible says, those lilies are indeed more splendid than the richest fabrics made by man. Lilies were always my favorite flowers, though we are so limited on which ones we can grow here at this latitude. The Asiatics and Orientals are out of the question for us.

What spectacular blooms Millie. I love to hear a choir sing "Consider the Lilies." Thank you for sharing your beautiful cloches and arrangements.
What beautiful lilies. I just love all their different poses :)
Hello Millie,

I think it is obvious why lilies are so popular based on your photos alone :-)

Your arrangements are so creative and are making me want to bring out my cake plates and domes. What a perfect way to showcase the beauty of your lilies.

Thank you so much for participating in MGB :-)
Millie, this is so lovely!

XO,

Sheila :-)
