The Garden in Early July

We have had an unusual summer do far…lots of rain followed by extreme heat. This is not our usual climate.

Some of the garden is doing well, but other plants are suffering. We have a slight problem with yellowing leaves, and I am hoping Miracle Gro will solve that in time.

This begonia has been blooming non stop since early May…a real keeper!

I have rearranged the items on our green painted bakers rack…

“Incrediball” Hydrangea, in it’s 3rd year, is doing well.

007-001-1Pineapple lily…first time blooming…only one spike. I overwinter the bulbs in a cold room.

Love these pink lilies!

014-001-1I am participating in Tootsie’s Flower Flaunting today. Be sure to see the lovely gardens over there.

Millie your gardens look quite lovely and healthy. It has been a strange season all over hasn't it? We had rain and cold for so long and now it's hot and dry. Your hydrangea is a new variety to me. I hope you have a good weekend. Pamela
You have some lovely flowers in your garden. I like your mix of lilies and the lovely hydrangea. Hoping that you have a good weekend.

Millie: What lovely flowers--the blue container in the middle of the flower bed is a particularly striking accent--just beautiful. Take care--have a super weekend!

Love the view from the garden path! Everything is looking good. I have Incrediball too and it is only 2 or 3 years old and full of blooms. What a great hydrangea it is.

Your garden is beautiful! I'm finally back home, and am enjoying our weather tremendously. It doesn't feel terribly hot after the 110 and up temp that they had where I was.
Hugs, Cindy
Hello Millie,
Your blooms are lovely. The begonia is fabulous!
My lilies didn't do well at all this year and the crows destroyed our back garden so Hubby and I are fairly discouraged this year.
I will just have to content myself with enjoying other gardens like yours. So happy you stopped by for a visit. Have a lovely day.

Blessings,
Sandi
