Tea Time–Oct 22, 2013

It’s certainly fall weather here…a few snow flurries today, but we have had some nice days to clean up the flower beds, and we are still eating our home grown tomatoes and onions.
Time now for a cup of tea and some warm pumpkin muffins.
001-1
The china is Orchard Gold by Aynsley, so suitable for fall.

I have just a few pieces, received as gifts from my parents when they travelled to England, and from their friends who visited us here.

In case we want a little snack beforehand, I have these little pumpkin cheese snacks…so cute!

Also on the table is a runner quilted by Mom, which may be called appropriately “flying geese”. and some late blooming asters from my garden.

Beautiful! I love the china and haven't heard of the pattern but it certainly is perfect for a fall tea. I've never seen the cheesy pumpkin snacks either. Yum. I'm glad you posted your tea time. Blessings, Pam

Hi Millie! I don't know what arrested my attention first - the beautiful cup (that blue was a surprise), the asters, or the cheese snacks shaped like pumpkins! Where did you find those little yummies? Your asters are lovely and I'm glad they found purpose on your table before they faded away. Thanks for stopping by my place at The Writer's Reverie. Hope to share tea again, soon!
Joy!

Hi Millie,
My dear friend, you are not late to the party. I leave the tea party open until Friday evening, so lots of time yet. Your teacup is simply beautiful and how perfect it is for Autumn! Your asters are gorgeous; such a pretty colour! And the quilt your mom made is very pretty. I love the colours in it. I too must mention those wee pumpkin cheese snacks. They look very addictive! Haven't seen those here. Thank you for coming to tea and pleae keep the snowfurries out in Manitoba, OK? Have a lovely week.

Blessings,
Sandi
This is lovely, Millie. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us. Astros are favorite flowers of mine, and I love the china and the goodies, too.

xo,

Sheila

Snow! Oh, I hope we get some out on the Island this winter. None last year. Your tea setting is beautiful. The turquoise/blue cup is so richly colored.
The pumpkin cheese snacks look like a lot of fun and so fitting for the season.

What a beautiful teacup ! Everything about it appeals to me.

Wherever did you get those cute pumpkin cheese snacks ?

The quilt on your table is lovely, and I am jealous you have a mom who makes such things for you. What a lovely tea table for this season.

Fall would be suspended If I had such a lovely set of China pieces as this.

I'm thinking next year I'll have to get asters for the garden as we have mostly green left except for the yellow hostas take took on frost.

Ok, these cheese puffs are so perfect for the occasion, this is the first time I've ever seen them. Lovely pictures
