Tea Time - Apples

September brings a certain crispness in the air, along with crisp, red apples.
I have a cute apple teapot which is only used at this time of year.
I love to bake with apples! ...and there is no lack of recipes to choose from.
One of our favourites is plain old fashioned apple pie, served slightly warm, with just a small scoop of vanilla or maple-walnut ice cream.
I used my Eavesham china again
Another day, I baked some apple bars and used a fall-themed mug for my coffee. The weather was nice, so we sat outdoors to enjoy those.
Fall is in the air, and that means pumpkins for décor, along with the apples.

Such a cozy and welcoming autumn tea setting. Apples are wonderful treats at this time of year and so great in baking. Your apple cake/slice looks wonderful.
Love your apple teapot, Millie! How sweet is that! I almost made an apple pie for company but made a crisp instead. Yours looks delicious and is my hubby's all-time favourite. The bars look good too. Haven't gone picking apples yet but soon. Thank you for joining me for tea and enjoy the new week.

Blessings,
Sandi
What beautiful teacups, Millie! Your apple pie and apple bars sound wonderful to go with your tea today. I just love Fall, even though it's still hot here in Texas!

You do have apples! Love your post! It IS apple time isn't it!
When the apples are in and fresh, it is the best time for baking with them. Your apple teapot is sweet and the china is perfect for your apple theme.
