It's heading toward spring here...my tulips are just peeking out of the ground, so today's flowers are from the grocery store. Surrounding them are some spring jugs and a kalanchoe plant.
See Tootsies for other flowers
Beautiful dishes and I am so thankful for grocery store flowers. It's the Springiest thing in my house! I can't wait for the tulips to show their colors. Your plant is so lovely too. Hugs, Cindy S

How pretty everything looks Millie. Happy Spring!

This was my first year for tulips, Millie; and I'm so pleased that they turned out so pretty! I'm also always happy to see how many of the fish made it through the winter. At last count, it appears that we lost one, but discovered a little black one that we were unaware of. Of course now the tadpoles are taking over, and I love watching them -- they remind me of spaceships for some reason. There will be thousands of them, and then they will just disappear (promise -- I'm not vacuuming them up.) We have about 15 frogs that hang around all year! The pond is "work", but it's the enjoyable work there is. When the back starts hurting, I back off. But I truly do love it! I will look forward to seeing pictures. Please let me know when you post them in case I don't catch it on that particular day. OK -- I do believe I've taken up my allotted space here (haha)!
There is a cloche party today! Check out all the lovely posts at A Stroll Thru Life I tried 2 figurines in my cloche: First is an Aynsley sheep which my Mom gave me. Our little snowman violinist by Lennox is in the second set. This is fun! I think I’ll try more scenarios, but now I’m off to see what others have done…
Some shots of my mom's 90th birthday party yesterday. She enjoyed the day, and stayed looking pretty fresh all day... There are many lovely mosaics at Mary's , so why not go visit?
Rhondi is hosting a porch party, and I am very excited about seeing decks, porches, etc. from many places, encompassing climates and decor of all sorts. We don’t have a porch, so we are welcoming you to our deck today. Please keep our Manitoba climate in mind, as you will notice our summer is just beginning, and plants are not very advanced yet. The afternoon sun is highlighting part of the table, and the rest is shaded by the umbrella. I have set the table in green and white, and because it will just be two of us , it is casual. Before the sun goes down, let’s see what else is on the deck…. another table with some lanterns and plants.. ..a bakers rack which I sprayed light green and which holds green plants.. ..a bench with more of the tropical print… …and a grouping of potted plants Looking out at the yard, the sun is streaming in from the West. the days are longer now and it is still light….at 8:45… …and now finally night has fallen…it is now 10...
