Cooking for a Cause

Yesterday I was privileged to attend the book signing of the Mennonite Girls Can Cook book,at our local Ten Thouand Villages store, a special day for me, as I have been reading the blogs of several of the authors for a long time.....What lovely ladies!...friendly and sweet..., but most important, their book will benefit needy children. Read about it on their website:
I asked my daughter to take a few photos for me...here they are...signing ....
...and at the other end of the table...me, being welcomed by Lovella and Anneliese
..Now I'm looking forward to trying more recipes!

That is one cookbook I'd like to have. I like that they are wearing their aprons for the book signing. :-)

Thank you for the kind comments Millie. It's people like you that have made the book possible.

Hi Millie,
I almost went to the store to see them, I was over on Pembina Hwy to have coffee with a friend, but I decided I needed to get home instead.
How nice for you to get to meet them, I'm sure they are lovely ladies.
Your bouquet is lovely, as always.
Hugs, cindy
