Tea Time Tuesday–MAY 14

Our rhubarb is popping up in the garden, so I have made a rhubarb upside down cake from Martha Stewart’s website.
It didn’t come out of the pan very neatly, but it is a good-tasting cake which I make each spring.

The cups are Royal Worchester “Gold Chantilly” and the teapot is Martha Stewart’s line.

Yesterday, Mother’s Day, was great, with our children and families and my Mom here for BBQ’d steak, etc. We are so thankful for each one of them.

How beautiful! I love your setting and the china is gorgeous! I know, sometimes they don't come out neatly, but home made cakes are always the best! Happy Tea Time Tues...see you there! Big hugs,

Yummy rhubarb desserts are so good this time of year. Ours is still quite small yet so will wait. Your china is really pretty and I like the pretty flowers on your table. Have a great week Millie!
Oh I love rhubard! Mine is just showing above the ground! It will be a while yet before I can bake with it! Your tea today is so inviting, such pretty china and flowers. Have a wonderful week!

Absolutely lovely, Millie! And rhubarb upside down cake - YUM! My rhubarb is popping up so maybe I will have to make something like this :)

Have a beautiful day.

Hugs to you!
Oh, what a yummy post, Millie! Rhubarb is one of my favourite desserts. Home made is always best and I would love to sit and sip some tea with you from one of your lovely teacups. Your geraniums are very pretty. I'm so glad you could come to tea this week. Hope you have a wonderful day.

Blessings,
Sandi

Hi Millie,
My rhubarb is huge already and I was going to try and make a strawberry rhubarb pie. I will have to save your recipe and try it sometime. Can you believe I have never cooked with mine before? Lovely setting and the pink Geraniums are a perfect addition.
hugs,
Jann

Your tea table looks so pretty! The flowers are lovely too. Now you've brought back a sweet memory for me. My mother used to make rhubarb pie and it was so good.
Thank you so much for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia
