Winter Blessing!

This winter has given us more snow than we care to shovel.

We have a special person in our neighbourhood who seems to appear after each big snowfall, driving a bob-cat, helping out those who can’t keep up with snow clearing,…. elderly people, single Moms, and he also helped us out with our driveway.

I have no idea who he is, or where he lives, but he deserves a medal for his kindness.

Here are a few pics of his little machine at work.

The next picture was taken from our bedroom window as he was lifting the snow in our neighbour's yard….pretty high banks!…I wonder how long it will take to melt???

A snow angel of a different kind!

That man truly does deserve a metal! What a saint! Is there any way to find out who he is, and take him some treats after the snow melts?

I have wondered how you were doing, Millie. This winter has been so hard on so many people, many of whom don't have much experience with ice and snow. I hope and pray we turn the corner soon. The sun has come out here. We have had very grey days, and I am relieved to feel the sun.

In the mean time, warm thoughts are headed your way...

I love hearing stories like these. What a great thing to do. Look at all your snow. My oh my. That's a piece of equipment our son would love to have to clear his snow. Blessings as you all thaw out and I hope it doesn't cause more problems.

How kind. And how helpful. Love hearing this kind of story.
Hopefully there won't be much more snow.
