Tea Time- May 19,2014- It’s all Blue

A little arrangement in a cup and saucer (Shelley Dainty Blue) ….lungwort, which is an  early bloomer with pink and blue flowers.
Thrift shop china, a Denby breakfast cup and saucer, Carlton blue and white, are added to this little setting.

For our tea today I prepared a rhubarb-strawberry crisp, …..oh,  so juicy and fresh…

Tomorrow the Prince of Wales and Camilla are arriving in Winnipeg, and I am hoping to get to see him on Wednesday (at a distance of course!) This long weekend is honoring his ancestor, Queen Victoria.

Hello Millie,
Your tea time today is stunning! Beautiful in blue! I have the same Shelley "Dainty blue" as you. It is a sweet delicate cup.
And your strawberry rhubarb crisp looks perfect! I do love this dessert so much. I can almost smell yours : )

Lovely blue hydranga. And blue is ALWAYS appropriate for a tea party... at least I THINK SO... LOL
Gorgeous tea table with all the shades of blue. I think my rhubarb is ready for picking and a crisp sounds yummy.
Hope you get to see the royals.

Oh, what a pretty tea table! The blue flowers are just so lovely and your china pieces are just perfect! You were at your church for 56 years! Oh, my! I'm so glad you've found another place that is home for you. Church has always been where my dearest friends were.
Thank you so much for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)

Millie, I am so very sorry about your Mom. I will keep you both in my prayers.

These are such brilliant photos. God bless you dear friend.

We were forced to move after only a year due to a bad situation with neighbor's pitbull dogs. The same builder of that house built us a handicap accessible home about 17 miles away. We have been very blessed during this process.
