Tough Times

My Mom is struggling with dementia, cancer, and now a broken hip. She just wants to go to be with her Heavenly father.

As I remember her better years, I think of orchids, her hobby.

Sorry to hear your mother is going through so much, Millie. My mother too has gone through a lot in the past couple of years and it's very difficult. It's hard on the family too. The Lord bless you, dear friend, and I will pray for both you and your mom today. Take care.

I love hydrangeas, and although we can grow the Limelight and Annabelle varieties fairly easily here in Manitoba, it is only recently that with some luck, we can overwinter Endless Summer. Endless Summer blooms in pink in our lime soil, unless we feed it with copper sulphate to bring out the blue . Last week, after a rainstorm, I noticed how soft and pretty the colours were. Victoria…and Me

The May-June 2009 Victoria magazine is one of my favorites, featuring blue and white... one of the open pages with an article on linens...it just happens that I have one of the patterns... There is also a feature on blue and white Wedgewood ... I have photographed some of my pieces alongside the article... ....here is my interpretation of blue and white...
