Fluffing for Spring

With spring on it's way, I am bringing out some brighter accessories. The colours of spring are so refreshing....


One of my favorite jugs is the tulip one. There is also a matching mug. I bought these in Florida a few years ago, and now wish I had bought more pieces in this pattern.

The Soft Colours of Summer

I love hydrangeas, and although we can grow the Limelight and Annabelle varieties fairly easily here in Manitoba, it is only recently that with some luck, we can overwinter Endless Summer. Endless Summer blooms in pink in our lime soil, unless we feed it with copper sulphate to bring out the blue . Last week, after a rainstorm, I noticed how soft and pretty the colours were. Victoria…and Me

The May-June 2009 Victoria magazine is one of my favorites, featuring blue and white... one of the open pages with an article on linens...it just happens that I have one of the patterns... There is also a feature on blue and white Wedgewood ... I have photographed some of my pieces alongside the article... ....here is my interpretation of blue and white...
