More of Seattle

Yesterday I posted photos of the flower market at Pike place here. There is so much more to see at and near the market, but because our trip was a one day whirlwind affair, I know we missed a lot.
I loved the colourful peppers arranged in wreaths and swags

Oh, seafood!

We stopped for lunch at Ivar’s, a waterfront restaurant we had visited about 30 years ago when our children were young. The food is still great!

To “top” it off, some of us went up on the space needle…not me! (can’t do heights)
If you want to see more of Pike Place Market, Judy at My Front Porch has some great photos in her interesting post today.069

Well...I'm thinking we could have bumped into each other at the market. Which day were you there? It was a gorgeous week for playing tourists in Seattle.

I loved the vibrant bouquets at the market as well...so beautiful!

Hi Millie,
I didn't realize you had gone to Seattle! How wonderful, isn't it a great city? I love it so much, much better than Vancouver, it just has so many interesting places and it's right on the waterfront, too. We always check out Pikes Place Market whenever we are there. And isn't Ivers the BEST? Glad you enjoyed it so much.
Hugs, Cindy
Wow those peppers are gorgeous. Beautiful pictures Millie! We love markets, looks like this will be one to remember!
Thanks,
Lisa

Oh how I LOVE seafood! I have heard so much about this famous Market. I seriously want to go to Seattle just for the market alone:)
Me either, I wouldn't go up in that needle. I passed on going up in the Eiffel Tower. That's only because I am old enough to know to say no now.LOL
