The Garden–August 23, 2013

005-1

The weather this year has been quite good for gardening. This is a general view of the flower bed. I planted it in a rather random fashion.

I like this combination in a pot…shades of yellow and lime green…endless summer hydrangea in another pot, just peeking into the photo.

Third year for this lily..

Ornamental cabbage coming along nicely..

One of my favorites, both in the garden , and for cutting; gloriosa daisy:

I love the combination of colors in your garden, the pinks in front going into violets at the back, so subtle and feminine. They are plants not seen here, although of course i know and love them.

What a beautiful flower bed you have, Millie! Love the pinks and your nice green lawn. Things are very dry here and the garden is looking a bit tired.
The grass is green and vibrant looking, and I think your pretty flower garden looks like a tapestry weaving.

Hi Millie! Oh, your gardens are just gorgeous! I love all of the soft colors and how they are like a carpet of flowers. I do believe you must have a green thumb! Thank you so much for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I just came over from Tootsies. The color combination in your flower garden is breathtaking. Beautiful! Love your touches of blue in the urn and the gazing ball.
