Forget - Me - Not Tea

I was given a free packet of forget-me-not flower seeds, and was pleasantly surprised at the abundance of sweet little flowers. I have been cutting them for small arrangements.
I was struck by the similarity to the pattern on my favourite tea cup and saucer- Shelley Dainty Blue
A little tea setting outdoors near the pond seemed in order
A blueberry printed tea towel was pressed into service as a runner.
The tea today was Celestial Blueberry

Your Shelley teacup is so beautiful and the forget-me-nots do look amazing with it. Such a pretty setting out by the pond too. Lovely posting, Millie, and thank you for sharing with us. Have a lovely day.

I love blue and Shelly, it always sets a great table. Flowers are also the center of the patterns.

What a lovely outdoor tea! I'm totally coveting your beautiful Shelley teacup!
Your Shelly teacup is so beautiful and looks so lovely with the forget me nots! How nice that thy bloomed so well!
What a beautiful table for tea time! I certainly agree that your teacup is one of Shelley's most beautiful patterns. What a cup to cherish! I have never grown forget me nots before and I see how lovely they are for in your arrangement. I like small flowers on the table for tea time. Hope you enjoyed your outdoor tea!

I love that teacup and saw a whole table setting for sale in that pattern at a vintage shop in Hillsborough, NB recently. I'll be sharing a photo of it on my blog soon. Your teatime looks lovely. Have a great September!

Blue and white with touches of green foliage make the perfect outdoor combination. Your outside tea setting is so pretty on a fall day. I heard on the news that you are in for a warm weekend!
