Tea Houses

Sadly I don't have photos of one of my favorite tea houses "Pineridge Hollow" here in Manitoba. The pictures I do have are of friends having tea there, but none of the shoppe itself. The owner has an imaginative style and the grounds are lovely, and often used for weddings and social events. There is a greenhouse where I often purchase unusual plants. The tea house is situated just outside the boundary of one of our Provincial parks so I am sure many campers enjoy a break from camp food .

I do have some shots of a nice shop (above and below,). and although it is not touted as a tea shop, we love to go there for some of their lovely pastries. It is Bachman's Nursery and garden shop in Minneapolis. The floral displays around the cafe make the surroundings great . My hubby and I were enjoying a cherry pastry there just last week, wich is why I missed out on posting for the table setting.

Below, on a checked tablecloth, is a nicely presented dessert which we enjoyed in Glasgow, Scotland, but I don't recall the name of the tea shop.

I would love to go to a tea house that has a green house attached. I can only imagine the beautiful flowers they would have there. The flowers in your picture are so pretty. I just love checkered table clothes. The ones in the picture look so fresh and crisp. Thank you for sharing. I loved your post.

It all looks so yummy. Whenever I think of Glasgow, Scotland, I can't help but remember when I was a preteen and my best friend and I were planning to marry one of the Bay City Rollers. They were a music group from Glasgow. Thanks for helping me retrieve that fun memory.

I love the idea of a tea shop that's combined with a plant nursery! It can't get any more perfect than that! The only time I've found this duo is once at a lavender farm. They had fields of lavender and set to one side was a lovely French cafe with tea.

Your pictures are lovely and the presentation of the food --- so elegant and inviting.

Thanks for sharing!

Pineridge Hollow is lovely.
Have you ever been to the White Horse Emporium down Highway 26 in St. Francis?
