Autumn's Colours

The colours of autumn are so varied. We went out to our son's garden and picked luscious red tomatoes, and brought home honey-toned onions.

The photo here is of a muted green pumpkin, which looks like it is glazed pottery. The orange Celosia is so vibrant. Someone said yesterday that he feels God gave us beautiful autumn colors, so that when winter comes with it's grey and white, we will remember.

Decorating for Thanksgiving 2020

 Our Canadian Thanksgiving is in one week. Due to COVID, we won't be having a Thanksgiving family dinner this year, but I did some decorating anyway. This Thanksgiving will be different in another way also, as one of our Grandsons is getting married during the same weekend. Due to our Provincial rules, they are only allowed 10 guests The wedding will be held in his parents' back yard so another 10 of us will be seated in the yard next door to see the ceremony.+ It has been almost 2 years since I  last posted. Sometimes life events get in the way!

There is a cloche party today! Check out all the lovely posts at  A Stroll Thru Life I tried 2 figurines in my cloche: First is an Aynsley sheep which my Mom gave me.       Our little snowman violinist by Lennox is in the second set.       This is fun!
