You always have the most beautiful photos Millie! You are so talented at arranging things. We recently survived cupboard painting ourselves. It's miserable to live through but so worth the end result. Hope you'll share pics later. Enjoy the pretty weekend.
A new look for your kitchen sounds exciting. I do hope you will post pics of it. I like your mosaic today - so pretty. We will be renovating (gutting) our kitchen soon and didn't choose open shelves either. I like the look in magazines but I think it would be just too dusty. I guess you know about that now. Enjoy the rest of the weekend. Blessings, Pamela
I love hydrangeas, and although we can grow the Limelight and Annabelle varieties fairly easily here in Manitoba, it is only recently that with some luck, we can overwinter Endless Summer. Endless Summer blooms in pink in our lime soil, unless we feed it with copper sulphate to bring out the blue . Last week, after a rainstorm, I noticed how soft and pretty the colours were. I am joining in with Monday Mosaics at Mary's. What lovely contributions we find over there every week, and thanks, Mary! *****Click on the photo to enlarge*****
To see larger photos, click to enlarge.. The May-June 2009 Victoria magazine is one of my favorites, featuring blue and white... one of the open pages with an article on linens...it just happens that I have one of the patterns... There is also a feature on blue and white Wedgewood ... I have photographed some of my pieces alongside the article... ....here is my interpretation of blue and white... As a nod to the current issue of Victoria, which features some tea tables in green, I have set out my own little tea table, with some scones... ...or perhaps you'd like to help yourself to a chocolate-cherry morsel? On this spring day, I am joining in with : Celebrate Spring http://blissfulrhythm.blogspot.com/ Mary's Mosaic Monday, on whose blog you will see some lovely snowdrops: http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/2011/03/mosaic-monday-snowdrops.html Also, Sandi is having a special tea party today, so be sure to go over there and enjoy her lovely blog
