Flaunting My Flowers August 20, 2009

An endless summer hydrangea, second year

Tootsie, at

is hosting the weekly flower flaunting event. It is so much fun to see flowers from a variety of climates.
Here is what is blooming in our garden this week:

A rabbit, enjoying silver toned plants:

A view of the back garden:

Dahlias

This is a nice compact plant, but I can't remember it's name. I 'll plant it again, as it is very reliable.

OMG, Girl, your gardens are awesome! I was happy to see your nice endless summer and if you can grow it well in Canada, I sure think we can grow it in Minnesota. A friend of mine said we can't. HA. Guess she was wrong! Anyway, I really, really enjoyed your pictures.

Beautiful blooms, The last plant photo is a diamond frost euphorbia,
they do well indoors with bright light during the winter months.
Happy FF!

You have a beautiful garden, Millie, I would love to see it some day. Perhaps you can teach me something about gardening, I know so little because I have seldom had a flower garden. Right now we are concentrating on our lawn, it was long ignored by the people we bought our house from and needs lots of TLC to look like a lawn. Hugs, Cindy S

What an absolutely gorgeous back garden you have! To die for!!! Love Endless Summer. I love Hydrangeas anyway but that's really a pretty one. I had that silver foliage plant once - it's really nice but only an annual here.

Hi Millie, Thank you for your sweet comment on my flower box. I am really hoping to find the lady at the Purple House home so I can ask her if she minds me blogging about her house. I knocked at her door the day that I took the pics, but she did not answer. I will try this evening on my walk to the Library. Hugs, Cindy
