Whatcha' Thinkin' About?


We have this plaque mounted just inside our back door.
I don't know how many people actually read it as they come in, but it is our hope that the conversations in our house are based on noble, bright, pure and lovely thoughts.
With all the negative news about the poor economy, loss of investments and jobs, not to mention the horrible negative political ads on TV right now, it is difficult to maintain a positive outlook on things.
When I saw the way the photo turned out, with the "ly" missing from the right side of it, my first thought was to re-take it, but then I got to thinking...maybe it's fine the way it is..a reminder that LOVE is what propels us to think the way we should.

Hi Millie,
Love your plaque! Phil. 4:8 is one of my all time favourite scripture verses. It really helps me to have a more positive outlook on life when I meditate on that verse; especially when things are going badly.

 Our Canadian Thanksgiving is in one week. Due to COVID, we won't be having a Thanksgiving family dinner this year, but I did some decorating anyway. This Thanksgiving will be different in another way also, as one of our Grandsons is getting married during the same weekend. Due to our Provincial rules, they are only allowed 10 guests The wedding will be held in his parents' back yard so another 10 of us will be seated in the yard next door to see the ceremony.+ It has been almost 2 years since I  last posted. There is a cloche party today! Check out all the lovely posts at  A Stroll Thru Life I tried 2 figurines in my cloche: First is an Aynsley sheep which my Mom gave me.       Our little snowman violinist by Lennox is in the second set.       This is fun!
